Harbin ICE Wonderland: -15 Degrees Celcius in Bangkok
by Will >> Nov 16, 2014
Missing cold weather in Thailand? Bangkok now has a winter wonderland at -15 ̊C . Enjoy serious coolness and a magnificent ice sculpture exhibition.
The ice art includes iconic world landmarks, famous locations and traditional palaces, created by artists from Harbin City of northeast China's Heilongjiang Province.
Aside from ice sculptures you can find ice slides, a bobsled ride and a playground with real snow.
Make sure you’ve charged your mobile phone or camera, as the ice sculptures make perfect backgrounds for a fun photo shoot with your friends.
Harbin ICE Bar
Located right next to the Ice Wonderland, is the Harbin ICE Bar. This place has 2 sections; a North Pole themed bar at a regular temperature and an ICE bar that is cooled down to -15 ̊C.
Enjoy your favourite ice cold drink (or hot chocolate) at tables and seats carved from ice.
Both the wonderland and the ICE bar provide warm winter coats and gloves for you to wear during your super cool experience.
